Reaction Evaluations:

Reaction Evaluations measure training participants' immediate impressions of the effectiveness of learning programs. The reaction evaluation is the lowest-level, most straightforward, and easiest-to-implement measure of a training program's effectiveness.

 

Learning Evaluations:

Corresponding to Level 2 of Kirkpatrick's and Phillips' ROI models, the Learning Evaluation component of the CompleteROI system administers pre- and post-assessments or self-rated achievement reports to training participants. It allows administrators to view reports that compare test results between classes or training programs. End users can be assessed directly by the Learning Evaluation application, or indirectly through paper-and-pencil exams or through observational evaluation in performance-based tests.

 

Performance Evalustions:

Corresponding to Level 3 of Kirkpatrick's and Phillips' ROI models, the Performance Evaluation component of the CompleteROI system administers targeted 360 degree behavioral evaluations to training participants and their assessors. Participants' peers, direct reports, managers, and clients can all evaluate the participants' performance in areas related to the objectives of the course. Evaluations can take place after the course is completed or both before and after the training program.

 

Business Impact and ROI Studies:

Corresponding to Level 4-5 of Kirkpatrick's and Phillips' ROI models, CompleteROI Business Impact and ROI Studies determine training programs' measurable contributions to business goals and measure their effectiveness as investments. Using underlying metrics and business drivers, Impact Evaluations tie the gains found in Complete ROI Performance Evaluations to business goals or actual monetary returns.
